The camel back heads only have about 160 cc intake ports. For a 383 200cc seems about right. I have heard of 180cc heads giving outstanding results. Your 462 heads were awesome in the 60's and 70's even the vortec heads will out perform them now.I have heads stamped with # 378241. And a build code of B266. I know these are camel hump heads built on February 26, 1966. My question: what were the stock valve sizes on these??? My understanding is that the "-461" had the bigger 2.02/1.60 valves AND the "-461X" had the smaller 1.94/1.50 valves. Please impress me with your old school ...
